How does a CSA work?
A CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture program, allows members to purchase a share of a farm’s harvest and receive fresh local food throughout the season. Members support the farm at the beginning of the growing season and, in return, receive access to locally produced foods as they become available.
Is joining a CSA worth it?
For many families, yes. A CSA provides access to fresh local food, supports local farmers, strengthens food security, and creates a direct connection to where your food comes from. Many members also enjoy discovering new seasonal foods and supporting regenerative agriculture.
