Olive Garden Style Zuppa Toscana

· 1/2 package of Jimmy Dean Italian Sausage

· 3 medium potatoes

· 1-2 stalks celery, diced

· 3/4 C onions, diced

· 6 slices of bacon

· 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic

· 2 C Kale leaves, cut in half, then sliced

· 2 Tbs chicken base

· 1 can chicken broth

· 1 qt water

· 1/3 C heavy whipping cream

 

1. Cook sausage, onion and celery in a Dutch oven and then set aside. Cook bacon in Dutch oven and set aside.

2. Add garlic and cook one or two minutes, until lightly browned.

3. Add broth, chicken base, water and potatoes. Cook till potaotes are tender.

4. Add crumbled bacon, sausage and kale and simmer 4 more minutes until kale is tender.

5. Add cream, and heat through. Serve and enjoy!
